My Worse

Hello, you asked for a critique so here i go <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/l/a/l…" alt="" title="lazeplz" />

Positives:
To start of I think you did a very amazing job. The detail in this is beautiful and the use of colour is definite eye candy. You show very good technique and understanding of anatomy, the character himself has a simple yet creative and stunning design.

Negatives:
I have very few problems with this picture to be honest. First being, the position of his animal eyes, especially his left (his left not ours) one, it is too far up his head i think and should be lower/more on the side of his head and not bolt up on the top of his head. Lastly, the light source is alittle confusing: I'm guessing the sunset is behind him (that is what the effect suggests anway) yet his face and hair are lighted as if the light source is infront of him. There is also a blue light source underneath him but there isn't much of it reflecting on him: just a bit on his clothes but not on his face or hair.
